When a 5 year old asks you..."Mom, where do babies come from." How do you answer?
That is a question I got tonight from Alli. She actually asked Joe and he naturally said "ask your mom."
WOW - I was completely caught off guard by that one. Never thought I would have to face that at 5 years old. I thought we had several more years before that question came up. But hopefully my answer was enough and the thought is now out of her head. Although we are not sure where the thought came from in the first place.
So my quick answer was....when mommies and daddies love each other, they have babies.
Right or wrong thing to say to a 5 year old? I am not sure.
So what would you say?
